How to Make Kombucha

If you're considering making your own kombucha, take a look at the photo above and ask yourself a question: "Can I handle this?"

Kombucha is made with a SCOBY (symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast) that looks like swamp mold and feels like a Halloween gag.
