Tea-Infused Alcohol

Dried tea is, by its very nature, made to flavor liquid. It's usually prepared as an infusion in hot water. Sometimes (and some places, like where I'm currently traveling in India), it's boiled as a decoction. And other times, it's infused into alcohol. Personally, I consider New Year's to be one of those times for the third category!

Although there are many tea-infused spirits (mostly tea vodkas) on the market, few of them use very good quality tea. Fortunately, it's easy to make your own tea-infused spirits at home. Here are some easy recipes for making tea-infused spirits (and tisane-infused spirits):
