Autumnal Temptations

Autumnal Temptations came about on a lovely autumn Friday afternoon when I had just a few hours left of work but had the pressing desire to enjoy the wonderful weather, which was sure to be one of the last warm days of the year. With only a few ingredients at hand, the drink came together nicely and the lack of alcohol makes this a drink anyone can enjoy.

What I have done is combine the sultry taste of apricot nectar with a splash of citrus and topped it with an herbal soda. Dry Lavender Soda is one of my favorite and it brings that touch of extra flavor to the drink that club soda cannot touch. If this is unavailable, you could use a sweet ginger ale such as Verner's instead.
