Coffee Filters

If you use a drip coffee maker, then you are familiar with coffee filters. Paper filters are pretty standard, but they're not your only option. Different kinds of reusable filters are better for the environment, and do not effect the taste of your coffee as much.

1. Melitta Paper Coffee Filters

Ok, paper filters are the easiest to use, and you don't make a mess trying to clean them up. You may get a slight papery taste to your coffee though.

2. Gold Coffee Filters

Swiss Gold Coffee Filters
Yes, coffee filters made with real gold. These high-quality filters are lined with 23karat gold and will not give any odd flavours to your coffee. Not cheap, but they will last you a very long time.

3. Cloth Coffee Filters

Cotton Tea Bags
These are great, and environmentally friendly. You can get filters in the same size as the paper ones, but made in with unbleached cotton. You can just rinse them out between uses.
